Mazer Match helps you find other travellers: people visiting the same place on overlapping dates, or, on Elite, people close to you right now. It’s opt-in, and nobody can message you until you’ve both agreed to connect. Open it from Mazer Match in the sidebar, or from a trip to see matches for that trip.

Set up your profile

The first time, you create a travel profile: a photo, your travel style, pace, budget and interests. Links to your Instagram, LinkedIn or X are optional, and are only visible after you connect with someone.

Same Trip and Near You

  • Same Trip shows travellers whose trips overlap yours.
  • Near You (Elite) shows who’s close to you now, within a search area you choose.

Connecting

Send a connection request to someone you’d like to meet. Once they accept, you can chat in TripMazer without sharing a phone number.

Plan together

Once connected, Together gives you a shared space for:
  • Places: what you’ve both saved
  • Meetups: suggest a time and place to meet
  • Expenses: split shared costs, such as a taxi or a meal

Your privacy and safety

Near You asks for your location first, and works like this:
  • Others see a rough distance, such as “~5 km away”, never your exact location.
  • Precise coordinates are deleted daily. Only your city is kept.
  • Ghost mode lets you browse nearby without appearing to others. Your Same Trip matches stay active.
In You on Mazer Match, turn off Discoverable to stop showing your profile to travellers who match. You can also block or report someone at any time. Revoke location access in your browser or device settings.
