You don’t need special phrasing to use Mazer. Talk to it like a well-travelled friend who can also book things. A few habits make a big difference, though, because they give Mazer what it needs to act instead of asking you questions.

1. Lead with the five essentials

Most trip requests need the same details. Give the ones you know in your first message, and Mazer can search and plan in one go. Your pace, interests, food rules and travel style come from your traveller passport, so you don’t need to repeat them.

2. Ask Mazer to do it, not to explain how

Mazer can act: add a stop, move a day, search fares, set a reminder, log an expense. Phrase requests as actions and it will do them, instead of describing how you could.
Anything that books, pays, sends or deletes still comes back as a card for you to approve. See Approvals.

3. Say “save it”, or “plan the whole trip”

These are two different requests, on purpose.
  • “Save it” or “make this a trip” creates the trip and copies the plan from your chat into its itinerary. It doesn’t start new searches.
  • “Plan the whole trip” runs the full flow: flights, stays, things to do and a day-by-day plan.
Use the first when you’ve already worked the plan out in chat, and the second when you want Mazer to take it from a blank page.

4. Correct in small steps

You don’t need to rewrite your request when something’s off. Reply with just the change, in plain words, and Mazer adjusts what it already made.

5. State hard limits as limits

Your trip budget guides what Mazer picks first, but it’s never a hidden filter. If something is a real limit, say so, and Mazer will filter on it.
When everything costs more than your budget, Mazer tells you in real numbers and suggests fewer nights, other dates or a cheaper area. It won’t quietly drop the options.

6. Name the trip when you have more than one

With several trips saved, say which one you mean: “on my Japan trip”, “for Goa”. On Telegram, /trip sets the active trip so you don’t have to repeat it.

7. Bring what you already have

You don’t need to retype anything. Mazer reads:
  • Links: Instagram reels, YouTube and TikTok videos, articles and hotel pages
  • Photos: receipts, menus, signs, buildings, screenshots of bookings
  • Files: booking PDFs and confirmation emails
  • Voice notes, on WhatsApp and Telegram
  • Your location, for “near me” questions

8. Ask for the format you need

Mazer can answer as a table, a checklist, or a file. It writes and runs small programs for the maths, so totals and splits are calculated, not guessed. Mazer can make PDFs, Excel and CSV files, Word documents, calendar (.ics) files, QR codes and charts.

What Mazer won’t do

Knowing the boundaries saves time:
  • Pay for you. Payment always happens in TripMazer’s checkout.
  • Change a flight ticket itself. It checks what a change would cost and who can make it, then helps you request it.
  • Change hotel dates itself. It prices the change; you complete it in Bookings → Change dates.
  • Guess. If it can’t confirm a fact, such as a place in a photo or a fare that no search returned, it says so instead of inventing one.
  • Act on your connected apps without asking. Sending, publishing and deleting always need your approval.
