Mazer can check whether a booking can change and what it would cost. The change itself is always confirmed by you, and for flights, made by the airline or our flight partner.

Hotels

Hotels can’t edit the dates on a booking, so a date change is a new booking for the new dates, confirmed before the original is cancelled.
1

Ask Mazer to price it

Mazer checks whether the booking can move and shows the new cost, the expected refund and the difference, with any cancellation fee stated. Estimates are labelled.
2

Make the change

Open the trip’s Bookings screen and choose Change dates on the hotel.
Refunds for the original booking come from the hotel provider within 7–10 business days.
Pricing a change doesn’t make it. Your dates only change once you complete Change dates.

Flights

No system lets anyone reissue a ticket automatically, so Mazer never changes a flight itself. It checks your booking and tells you who can change it, and at what cost. Depending on the airline and fare, the options are:
  1. Our flight partner reissues it for the fare difference, plus the airline’s change fee, plus a USD 25 servicing fee, charged only if you accept. Mazer can email the partner’s flight desk for you, copying you in, once you approve it on a confirmation card. Replies take up to 72 hours, 48 hours inside three weeks of the flight, and 4–6 hours inside a week.
  2. Change it yourself on the airline’s site. IndiGo, Akasa, SpiceJet and Air India Express allow this, with no USD 25 fee.
  3. Some fares can’t change, and within about 48 hours of departure only the airline can help.
TripMazer adds no fee of its own. A changed flight doesn’t update by itself: our team records it from the partner’s confirmation, or you enter it in Bookings → Change Flight.

Bookings made elsewhere

Bookings you made outside TripMazer (and imported) are changed through whoever sold them.
