# Telegram

> Link Telegram to TripMazer, use slash commands, and add Mazer to a group chat for a shared trip.

Mazer on Telegram is **@TripMazerBot**. It has everything Mazer does on WhatsApp, plus slash commands, group chats, a live "thinking" view while it works, and sticker packs.

> Telegram is part of [Mazer Pro and Elite](https://docs.tripmazer.com/plans.md), including the 7-day trial. On Free, **Settings → Integrations** shows **Upgrade** instead of **Connect**. If your plan or trial ends later, Telegram stays linked, but Mazer only replies with a link to upgrade until you're back on a paid plan.

## Link Telegram

**1. Open Integrations**

In the web app, go to **Settings → Integrations** and find **Telegram**.

**2. Tap Connect**

TripMazer opens **@TripMazerBot** in Telegram.

**3. Press Start**

Tap **Start** at the bottom of the chat. The web app updates to show Telegram as linked.

> Some networks block `t.me` links. Instead:
>
> 1. Open Telegram on your phone or computer.
> 2. Search for **@TripMazerBot**.
> 3. Send the `/start` message shown in **Settings → Integrations**, including its code. There's a **Copy** button next to it.

## Slash commands

Type `/` in the chat to see them all, or send `/help`. The most useful:

| `/trip` | Choose the active trip by name |
| `/newtrip` | Create a new trip |

| `/bookings` | Your hotel bookings |
| `/docs` | Trip documents and tickets |
| `/remind`, `/reminders` | Set and view reminders |
| `/translate` | Translate text |
| `/interpret` | Two-way live interpreter, for example `/interpret English Thai` |
| `/negotiate` | Bargaining help with fair prices and cultural tips |
| `/phrases` | An offline phrase pack for a language or destination |
| `/journal`, `/wrapped`, `/stats` | Trip highlights, Trip Wrapped cards and lifetime stats |
| `/share` | A share link for the trip |
| `/new` | Start a fresh conversation (keeps trips, memory and watches) |
| `/unlink` | Unlink Telegram |

## Use Mazer in a Telegram group

Add **@TripMazerBot** to the group chat for a shared trip, then link the group to the trip with `/linktrip`. Mention Mazer, or reply to it, when you want it to answer.

## Unlink Telegram

Send `/unlink` to the bot, or go to **Settings → Integrations → Telegram** and choose **Disconnect**. Your trips and memory stay in your account.
