# Watches, errands, routines and tasks

> Four ways to have Mazer keep working after the conversation ends, and the Activity log that shows what it did.

| | Use it when you want Mazer to… | It tells you… |
| - | - | - |
| **Watch** | keep an eye on something | only when it changes or your condition is met |
| **Errand** | work towards an outcome over days | as it makes progress, with next steps to approve |
| **Scheduled task** | repeat a job on a schedule | every time it runs |
| **Routine** | redo something you asked for before | when you say its phrase |

## Watches

Watch fares from \[BLR] to \[DPS] for \[December] and tell me if they drop below \[₹18,000].

Try in Mazer →

A watch checks on a schedule and messages you **only** when something changes or your condition is met: a fare under your threshold, slots opening up, a rule changing. A quiet watch is still working.

| Plan | How often watches check |
| - | - |
| Free | Daily |
| Pro | Every 6 hours |
| Elite | Every 15 minutes |

Watches that stay quiet for a long time check less often.

## Errands

Get my refund from \[the hotel] for the cancelled night. Follow up until it's sorted.

Try in Mazer →

An errand is an outcome Mazer works towards over days: a refund, a follow-up with a hotel or airline, a confirmation. It checks on a schedule, reads whole email threads, and prepares next steps (emails, calendar events, Notion, Docs or Drive), each waiting for your approval.

* **Limited steps.** Mazer prepares only the kinds and number of steps you allow: 5 by default, up to 25. Say "give it 5 more" to extend it.
* **Price limits are firm.** In a negotiation, Mazer never exceeds or reveals your limit, and only you can change it.
* **It ends on its own** when the goal is met or its end date passes (7 days by default, up to 30). Say "stop that errand" to end it early.
* **It never posts publicly or pays.**

## Scheduled tasks

Every Monday at 8 am, send me a digest of deals for \[Japan] in \[April].

Try in Mazer →

Scheduled tasks run on their own and report back: daily, on a chosen weekday, or every few minutes (at least 5). They only read: web search, your memory and past conversations, bookings, events, and Gmail if it's connected. They never send, book, cancel or change anything.

Create, list and cancel them in conversation. They're also listed in **Settings → Agent Tasks**, where you can pause or delete them.

## Routines

Save this as a routine.

Try in Mazer →

Mazer proposes the steps from the last few hours with a name and trigger phrases, and saves the routine once you approve. Saying a phrase runs it again; on Telegram, it also gets its own `/command`. Mazer may offer, once, to save something you've done on several days.

A routine pre-approves nothing: steps that send, book, pay or call still ask each time. Keep up to 20 routines, managed in **Settings → Skills**.

## The Activity log

**Settings → Activity** shows the last 30 days of Mazer's work on every channel:

* what it did
* approvals waiting for you (approve or decline them there or in chat)
* errands and watches in progress
* bookings made through Mazer

## Skills

**Settings → Skills** lists Mazer's specialist skills, such as pre-trip readiness, visa and entry, arrival kit, flight disruption monitor, expense reconciler, points and loyalty, call ahead, meeting prep and automatic check-in. Mazer doesn't use a skill you've turned off. Skills that read Gmail, Drive, Docs or Calendar need Pro or Elite.
