# Memories

> Your trip's album, journal, story and reel, tagged with the people in them, plus your stamps and travel stats.

Every trip has **Memories**, opened from its Trip Home. [tripmazer.com/memories](https://tripmazer.com/memories) brings together all your trips, with **On this day** and your **Year in Travel**.

## What's in a trip's memories

* **The album**, with day pages, photo search and a map
* **Food Passport**: what you ate, and where
* **The trip story**, written from your journal
* **Story Reel**: a short film of the trip

## The journal

Mazer can write up the days you didn't log. For each unlogged day, it drafts a short first-person entry from:

* your photos (time, place, what's in them, captions)
* what you spent and ate
* your flights
* what you told Mazer about those days, including the people you were with

The itinerary only counts where something confirms you actually went. If there's too little to go on, Mazer asks rather than inventing anything. You see the draft, fix anything in plain words, and approve it once. Days you wrote yourself are never rewritten.

**Check-in questions**: during a trip, Mazer asks about your day around 9 PM. Answer by typing or with a voice note, on WhatsApp, Telegram or the trip page. Voice clips stay private.

Saved days appear in **Memories → Story** and in **Trip Wrapped**.

## Story Reel

Every plan includes Story Reels (Free 1 a month, Pro 5, Elite 18; a trial includes 1). One is made automatically after each trip, and again a year on. Ask Mazer to make or change one any time, and share it with a link.

A Story Reel, ready to save or share. Sample data.

* **Pro** can make a version for someone special.
* **Group trips** can have an opt-in shared album, with **Leave me out** for anyone who'd rather not be in it, and a group film.

For beat-cut reels with music, captions and voiceover, see [Mazer Cuts](https://docs.tripmazer.com/features/mazer-cuts-and-creative.md).

## People in your photos

Tag someone once. If you turn on **face suggestions** (you're asked at your first tag, and it's also in the cover's **⋯** menu), the album tags them in your other photos when it's sure, and marks those tags. Close matches are listed for you to check, and removing a tag counts as a no.

Face suggestions never match people in other travellers' photos, and turning them off deletes the face data.

On group trips, you can say who another traveller is to you, in the album or in chat. Your album, reels and photo search then use your name for them.

## Photo dates

An edited copy of a photo can carry the wrong date. On group trips, it's placed on the day the group's other shots of that place say, and the photo viewer explains why. Photos with no date sit under **Undated**. Use **Move to day…** in the photo viewer to move your own photos.

## Stamps and stats

* **Passport** ([tripmazer.com/profile/passport](https://tripmazer.com/profile/passport)): your stamp book, with visits per country, seals, XP history and a share card.
* **Travel Story** ([tripmazer.com/profile/stats](https://tripmazer.com/profile/stats)): your lifetime travel stats.
* **Trip Wrapped**: shareable recap cards for one trip. On Telegram, use `/wrapped`.
