# Booking flights and hotels

> Search real fares and rooms with Mazer, then book them in TripMazer's own checkout.

Flights and hotels book inside TripMazer. Mazer searches, compares and explains; **Book** on a flight or hotel card opens our checkout, where you add travellers and extras and pay. Mazer never pays on its own.

## Searching

Flights

Find flights from \[Bengaluru] to \[Bali] on \[12 December], back on \[16 December], for 2 adults. No red-eyes.

How Mazer searches:

* **Return trips are searched one leg at a time**, so you see the best options each way.
* **Mazer only quotes fares and rooms a search actually returned.** It won't invent a price, airline or currency.
* **Your budget guides the ranking but isn't a hidden filter.** Only limits you state (like "under ₹8,000 a night") filter results. If everything costs more than your budget, Mazer says so in real numbers and suggests fewer nights, other dates or a cheaper area.
* **"Nothing free on those dates"** means the hotel has no rooms then, not that the search failed.

**1. Tap Book**

On the card in chat. On WhatsApp and Telegram, Mazer sends a checkout link.

**2. Travellers**

Add everyone travelling. Names must match passports or IDs.

**3. Extras**

Choose any extras the fare or room offers.

**4. Pay**

Pay in the checkout. Your booking appears on the trip's **Bookings** screen with its confirmation.

## After you book

* **Bookings** on the trip shows every flight, hotel and activity, including ones [imported from email](https://docs.tripmazer.com/features/importing-bookings.md).
* **Free cancellation reminders**: on WhatsApp and Telegram, Mazer reminds you 3 days before a hotel's free cancellation ends.
* **Cheaper rooms**: if a refundable room you booked with us gets cheaper, it's flagged on **Bookings** for one-tap rebooking.
* **Changes**: see [Changing a booking](https://docs.tripmazer.com/features/changing-bookings.md).

## Watching prices

Ask Mazer to watch a fare and it tells you only when the price drops below what you set. Flight price watches are on Pro (10 routes) and Elite (unlimited).

## Cancellations and refunds

Each fare and room shows its cancellation terms before you book. TripMazer can't override a non-refundable fare or rate. Hotel refunds come from the hotel provider, usually within 7–10 business days. See the [cancellation and refunds policy](https://tripmazer.com/legal/cancellation-refunds).
