# Automatic check-in

> Mazer checks you in when the airline's window opens and sends you the boarding pass.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Automatic check-in is on **Mazer Elite**, for 32 airlines including IndiGo, Air India and Emirates.

## Turn it on

Automatic check-in is off until you switch it on:

1. Go to **Settings → Skills**.
2. Turn on **Automatic check-in**, and agree on the consent sheet that opens. This is the one skill that acts on your bookings without asking each time, so switching it on is your consent.

Mazer messages you about each flight it sets up. Turning it off stops anything pending and tells you which flights to check in yourself.

> [!TIP]
>
> On Free and Pro, Mazer can still remind you the moment your check-in window opens, with the airline's link ready.

From then on, Mazer checks in every flight on file (booked through TripMazer, imported, or added to Live Trip) when the airline's check-in window opens, using the booking reference (PNR). If a flight has no booking reference, Mazer asks you for it.

## What you get

When check-in succeeds, Mazer sends you the boarding pass in the app and on your connected messaging app.

## Limits

* **Free seats only.** Mazer never pays for a seat or anything else.
* **It stops for passport details.** If the airline asks for passport or visa information, Mazer stops and asks you to finish.
* **Some flights need the counter.** Airlines restrict web check-in for some routes and passengers, such as travel with infants or special assistance. Check in at the airport for those.
